You cannot understand any immunology until you know all of immunology. But don’t despair — the pieces will fall into place — eventually.
The book is written in an easily understandable language with many educational figures.
The authors review the main elements of immunology by looking at how our immune system fight different types of infections but also cancer. In addition, it explains what can go wrong for the immune system and how medical science can use the immune system therapeutically.
The immune system — the never-ending battle can be read by anyone interested in the immune system. It can be used as an overview book for the long higher education programs but can also be used as a small textbook for the short and medium health education programs.
